Exciting opportunities await in Bloomfield, Hartford, and East Hartford, CT!

As a Part-Time School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a vital role in your community and impact the lives of the students you transport. You’ll be there to greet them in the morning and ensure they return home safely in the afternoon.

No prior bus driving experience? No problem! We’re proud to offer industry-leading training to help you succeed.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• A split shift: early morning before-school pickups and afternoon drop-offs, with free hours in between.
• A guaranteed shift of 4 hours per school day—no nights or weekends unless you choose to!
• Opportunity for additional hours through trips and charters when available.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

• Possess strong verbal communication skills.
• Are at least 21 years old.
• Have held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Are willing to undergo a drug screen and physical examination.
