ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is an on-site role in San Diego, CA for a Social Media Livestream Host at Ninetynine Dreams. We’re seeking dynamic and results-driven hosts to join our TikTok live-streaming sales team! As a host, you’ll go live on our official TikTok account, showcasing and promoting our premium lashes to a global audience. The specialist will be responsible for managing and executing TikTok Live streaming sessions, engaging with viewers, creating compelling content, and driving brand awareness and engagement through live streams. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, experienced in live streaming or content creation, and has a charismatic on-screen presence. In this role, you’ll be responsible for engaging viewers, optimizing live stream performance, and developing sales-driven strategies to maximize conversions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Live Streaming

• Host live sessions on TikTok for 4-8 hours daily.
• Showcase our lashes by wearing them and engaging with viewers.
• Foster a positive and interactive environment to enhance our brand image.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure the seamless execution of TikTok live streaming sessions, including pre-stream preparation, real-time support, and post-stream analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables including assisting with content creation and social media marketing 

Sales and Promotion

• Utilize your fashion and beauty expertise to promote our products.
• Develop and implement effective sales techniques to boost sales during live streams.
• Earn commission based on your sales performance.

Community Engagement

• Show viewers how to apply our lashes correctly.
• Provide tips and tricks for achieving the best look with our products.
• Respond to viewer questions and comments in real-time.
• Build a loyal and engaged community by connecting with your audience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Camera Confidence: Must be confident and comfortable in front of a camera and engaging with viewers
• Retail Experience: Experience in fashion and/or beauty retail sales is preferred
• Enthusiasm & Energy: Excellent communication and presentation skills, must be enthusiastic and energetic
• Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with social media and live stream sales; being a TikTok influencer/content creator is a plus
• Eyelash Expertise: Deep knowledge of false lash application and passion for beauty

SALARY RANGE: $20-$25 / hour + 5-15% sales commission

EXPECTED HOURS: 25-40 / week, Full-Time, Part-Time
