Position Overview As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer is responsible for developing and executing a human capital strategy aligned with LISC's mission, vision, and values. This role oversees human resources functions including talent management, change management, organizational performance, employee engagement, training, benefits, succession planning, internal communications, and culture initiatives. Responsibilities People Strategy Develop leadership resources and tools to enhance results, impact, and engagement. Support coaching and skill development for senior leadership, including advising the CEO. Stay current on best practices and pursue performance improvements in the People function. Use feedback mechanisms to benchmark and improve performance. Implement community development and financial sector best practices. Lead change management efforts with effective communication strategies. Talent Lead talent development, including onboarding, career growth, and succession planning. Advise on leadership, engagement, inclusion, and performance management. Support culture-building initiatives. HR Operations Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and employee relations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business, or related field; advanced certification preferred. Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience. Experience in financial services and interacting with executive leadership is desirable. Knowledge of labor laws, change management, and process improvement. Strategic thinking, relationship building, confidentiality, and strong leadership skills required. Compensation Salary range: $212,000-$278,000 plus benefits. Travel estimated at 25% annually.
